Hi
Using VEDA 2.0 version-1.244.1.1
I have lost access to results. When opening or updating the results page on one set of scenarios from a flavour of the TIAM model, I've got this error message (see below).
The scenarios are listed in the results page but all request to get data produces an empty table.
If you are using localhost version then the log file will be found at this location (Veda\Veda2.0_localhost_1.244.1.1\logs\)
Or, if you are using an Installer version then log file will be found at this location
(Veda\Veda2.0\logs\)
Please add your drive location before the above paths (like C:\ or D:\)
Note: log file always created like (currentdate).log
Kindly share the latest log or whatever date you got the error.
Thanks Ravinder.
Here they are (logfiles for today and yesterday)
Best,
Dear Olivier,
Please try to delete the Results database and reopen the Results module again.
Follow the below steps:-
1. Go to Model menu -> Manage disc space -> Database -> Results [Tab]
2. Select your model results and press Delete button
3. Go to Modules menu -> Select/Click on the Results or press F10 to open the results module.
Your issue will resolve from the above steps, if not please deleted all your cases related to that model which is not working from the Cases [Tab] under the Modelmenu -> Manage disc space -> Database. Solve your model again and then check the Results.
Note:- Please close the Results module before processing the above steps.
Do let us know if you will face the same issue again.

Hi Ravinder,
Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, deleting and re-importing the results didn't solve the problem - I have the same error message when re-opening the results tab.
I have tried to delete the latest model cases, as explained in the second part of the solution, but it doesn't solve the problem yet. I wouldn't like to delete all the model cases and rerun the model - is there a way to know what result file (what case) is corrupted?
I was hoping to be able to delete all results, delete only the case that cause trouble and then re-opening the results tab.

Sorry to hear that your issue didn't resolve yet!
Please share the latest log file, we will see and let you know the solution tomorrow.
Please fine the log file for today.
The model that causes problem is named: TIAM-FUSION2022-03. The results of this model are causing the results tab problems.

Dear Olivier, Ravinder,
Olivier: I think you can avoid running the model again by saving the *.vd* files for the cases before deleting them from inside Model menu → Manage disc space → Database. I think you should then be able just re-import the *.vd files for the cases.
Ravinder: When deleting cases VEDA says in the log that it deletes also the *.vd* files. But looking at the work folder, it seems they may not be deleted after all? If they are not deleted, why did you suggest re-running the model, and not just re-importing the *.vd* files for the cases? And why is VEDA giving those messages about deleting the vd files, if they are not deleted? I am not suggesting that they should be deleted, but I actually thought that VEDA was deleting them because of those messages...
I have copied the .VD* files and done the deletion of the case; put back the files in the work-directory.
Same error message. But it was good to try.
One (or more) VD file must be corrupted.

Thank you Olivier.
But note that the VD files are generated by TIMES and the GAMS gdx2veda utility (except for the *.vdt). They are all plain and simple text files, and therefore it would be very strange if one of them is corrupted. Anyway, unless your computer has some file system malfunction, it would imply a possible TIMES or a GAMS issue, and therefore I would be keen to know if rerunning makes any difference, and what would be the difference in the VD files that might be causing the problem.
