Hi,
[I wasn't sure if I should include this question in my previous question topic, but since it was a separate question, I figure I would just make a new topic. Please let me know if I should have put it there instead.]
So I've just gotten my model to work with lumpy investments but I just include a few technologies just so I could get it working. See previous thread here. That dramatically increased the model solution time from about 5 minutes without lumpy investment to over 2 hours with lumpy investment. And that was with just four processes that include lumpy investment. My plan is to actually include around 50 processes with lumpy investment. The first question I have is how this will further change the model run time? Does anyone know how this will affect overall run time? Hopefully it won't increase by a factor of 10x.
Second related question is are there tips for reducing model run time? Here is picture of my current solution options in CPLEX. If I can reduce the model solution time, especially for the trial and debugging process as I build up the model and add these additional processes, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for any guidance on these questions!
Chris
