Commodity balance and PASTI within the modelling horizon

Dear all,

I have a MAT commodity which is consumed (NCAP_ICOM) by two types of processes : existing ones (capacities being defined by NCAP_PASTI, before and after the Start Year of the model), and new ones. All these processes are vintaged.

It seems that the balance equation (=) for this MAT commodity is fullfilled for the new processes, but not for the existing ones with PASTI within the modelling horizon. Do you know why and how this could be changed ?

I checked about it, and I found it to be the original design that no past investment (defined by NCAP_PASTI) can have investment-related input flow (NCAP_ICOM) accounted for in TIMES. This design might of course be changed if considered useful, because NCAP_PASTI can now be defined also for years inside the horizon.

I am willing to make that change in the design in the next version of TIMES, if no-one has any objections.
