Limit investment

Hi

I would like to ask if it is possible to limit (per year) the total investment of a group of technologies? The idea is to set a maximum amount that can be spend in investment, for example in residential.
I tried to look to REG_BNDCST and REG_CUMCST but I’m not sure what I should put in CommGrp and I think that they are not the correct attributes to do that.

Antti will confirm, but I think the item index (VEDA uses CommGrp index to carry this information) of REG_???CST attributes refers to the predefined components of the OBJ function like INV, FIX etc.

You need to setup a UC using UC_ATTR declaration (NCAP, INVCOST) to bring the NCAP_COST parameter values as coefficients of UC_NCAP. Again, Antti will confirm but you might be able to refer to annual expenditures by using UC_ATTR (NCAP, BUILDUP) in addition. UC_Test scenario of TIMES_DEMO can provide some guidance on UC_ATTR syntax.

I followed the example of UC_TEST and it worked
