I am running Veda_FE on MS Surface Pro 4. When I press SYNC the interface gets resized and becomes really hard to use. Actually, some functions become completely unavailable i.e., it becomes impossible to (un)select scenarios in Case Manager. I am attaching a screenshot to illustrate the problem.
I think MS Sans Serif (8pt) missing on this device. Can you please check that using MS-Word?
Hi Vikrant,
Thanks for a prompt response! :-)
I have the following Sans Serif fonts intalled on my device: Microsoft Sans Serif Regular, MS Reference Sans Serif Regular and MS Sans Serif Standard... In MS Word I can find the following two: Microsoft Sans Serif and MS Reference Sans Serif.
To resolve it, I had to check the value of the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts\MS Sans Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24
On my laptop, I had SSERIFF.FON there, and by changing it to SSERIFE.FON (following advise I found from Microsoft), my issue with the too large fonts in VEDA-FE was resolved (it required a reboot). I have no idea whether your problem is at all related to the same issue, but just thought I could mention this as there has not been much advise from Kanors.

Hi Antti,
Thanks a lot! I've checked the registry, but the value was already like the one you changed to on your laptop. In addition, I have a (120) variant of the entry with the value like the original one on your laptop. I played around with them a bit, but it did not help. I then got an idea of checking the compatibility properties of VEDA_FE.exe and there it was: "Override high DPI scaling behaviour" with "Scaling performed by: System" seems to resolve the issue (for now).
