Renaming files in B-Y template
#1

In an existing model, how can a sector (file name in the B-Y template) be renamed?  I’ve changed the 'bookname' in the SysSettings.xls file.  Still VBE didn’t recognise the renamed excel file and show in B-Y template!   Instead it highlights the old file as a missing file.

How to create a new sector in B-Y template?

Appreciate some help

Thanks

It's in VFE, not in the VBE!Confused

You have to start from scratch (tools menu) after such renaming.

Thanks.  Rebuilding the database did the trick

To create new sectors, I've inserted new .xls files with appropriate B-Y filename syntax (VT_Bookname_Sector_**) and refresh /reopen the database (thanks to Maurizio too!)

Starting from scratch does not seem to be enough when I renamed a techrep, I had to delete the database
