Veda2.0 Released!

How to use ~MileStoneYears Table to declare an “EndYear” for each period?
#1
Dear Sir,

The MileStoneYears table in VEDA2.0 can directly specify MileStoneYear. Is there an example of the MileStoneYears table? Particularly using TYPE to specify the EndYear for each period.

Thank you!

Dear AKanudia,

Is there a difference between msy2007-2p-1 and msy2007-2p-2? See attachment.

Yes, they are different. The first definition has two milestone years and second one has three.

End year is the last year of the period that is identified by the last milestone year.

The (default) end year in the second definition will probably be 2015.

Dear Akanudia,
Thanks!
I have a question.
For the first definition, should the Ending Year selected in the CASE edit be 2007 instead of 2011? (see attachment)
Is this correct?

Yes, you are absolutely right. 2011 should not appear in the list of periods on the case definition form you have shown, and it should be called "Last Period" instead of "Ending Year". Antti had already pointed out this bug and it has been fixed for the next update.
