Hi everyone,
this is my first time running Times and i have a big problem, i cannot open VEDA_BE.
The error report that appears is:
"Sistem Database is missing, cannot proceed further" and then another error report with a "0" which closes Veda_BE.
If anyone could help me...

Thanks!

I think this is an installation problem. Please try to follow instruction on
www.kanors.com/vedasupportThen click Installation/Installing from scratch/If using Vista or Win7
Please let me know if this will solve the problem otherwise we can plan a GoToMeeting session this afternoon to check the problem.
Thanks,
Mauri

Hi, is there any idea why this keeps on happening to me, actually around 5-6 times in the past 2 years, licence and all ok and running fine, but after a few weeks or months (if lucky), VEDA-BE will act out showing this message: "Results database is missing! Cannot proceed further! For further details contact your systems administrator". Any tips to avoid this?
Thank you.

Dayang and MPSR,
Have you checked if your user has all read write permissions on VEDA folder?

Dear Utsavjha,
I'm using WIN10 and have always set full control permission for users (for VEDA folder). Is there anything that I'm missing?
TIA,
dayang

Refer to

If you have set permissions, perform the verification of user account control on VEDA Folder , by following steps as outlined in the document('unable to locate User' section).

Dear Utsavjha,
Actually, I have already done that (set permissions for full control for the user). I did that in the past when I first installed it. That didn't help (VEDA-BE still won't open). So I decided to just re-install VEDA-BE.
Before that, I uninstalled the previous VEDA-BE program from the control panel. After downloading it, the problem now is I couldn't run it, and there is a pop up error that says: "429 ActiveX component can't create object". I tried the solutions proposed in the VEDA forum, including one by Amit (http://forum.kanors-emr.org/showthread.p...ht=activeX), where I launch the command window and registered DAO360.DLL manually but also failed (A pop out saying "RegSvr32 The Module "DAO360.DLL" failed to load"). I also tried deactivating the anti-virus (in case that was the problem) but failed too. Appreciate your advice.
