Issue with VEDA_BE Importing Scenarios
#1
Hi all,
I'm having a problem with a particular database that I'm using, which is just incredibly slow to import scenarios. It can take a few minutes to import a single scenario - but I'm working with a couple of 100 scenarios, which is therefore problematic.

I am using the latest version of BE (4.9.2014). Databases for other projects are not slow to import - so I know it's not an issue with VEDA_BE itself.

I do have a large number of scenarios (a few 100) in my GAMS_Wrk folder which I'm importing from. Could this be causing the lag? Does anyone have any suggestions of how to improve the import speed of VEDA_BE?

All the best,
Neil
