Creating Multiple Scenario Runs in Batch

Hello,

We are considering performing uncertainty analysis with a TIMES model.  

One
single model needs to be run thousands of times, with certain parameters
changed randomly in each run.

I'm just
wondering if there is any VEDA feature that facilitates this process.
(for example, creating multiple scenarios in batch with case manager)

Could
you please advise and let me know if there is any similar work done previously?

I have been experimenting with a very powerful layer of functionality that sits on top of the VFE Case Manager. I have used this to run very large sets of parametric/combinatorial scenarios. One of these experiments generated wind/solar AF scenarios that were based on simple probability distribution functions.

I had proposed to clean this up and bring it in the production version, but it was not selected for funding by ETSAP.

How long does your model take to run?

Your experiments are very similar to what we need.

Our model takes about 5 minutes to run. We are considering something like running 1000 scenarios.
