Model geographical expansion
#1
Dear all,

We're currently in the process of expanding our TIMES model to encompass a broader geographical scope. Originally structured with 28 regions represented in a set of VT files. Our idea is to add a set of VT files (a copy of the original model) to introduce the data from the new 3 regions. The base year structure now resembles as the one in attachment

In addition, we also adjusted the BookName under SysSettings accordingly (in attachment).

However, upon running our reference scenario with the newly incorporated regions, we encountered infeasibility from the model. While scrutinizing our data inputs, we're seeking insights into whether this is the correct way to expand our model's geographical scope or if there are crucial steps we may have overlooked.

Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Best,
Steven
