Thanks Ravinder, yes, that may indeed happen if the GDX file was produced by a different TIMES version. But why would the GAMS engine use a different TIMES version than what was selected under VEDA2? Is the user not able to control which TIMES version is used by the engine?

The GAMS Engine platform allows users to upload or modify the TIMES source code, which is then applied to all subsequent solves until updated. In this instance, the user updated their GAMS Engine account to the latest version (4.9.2), while their local VEDA 2.0 installation continued to use version 4.8.3.

I did not know that the versions are independent, and can thus be inconsistent (what the engine uses vs. the version selected under VEDA). I was assuming it would be similar to the NEOS runs, where all the GAMS code is submitted to NEOS for each model run. Many thanks for providing the solution and the explanation!
