IGNORED_INPUT

Hi guys, please take a look at my model attached here. The issue is that in technology for production PIG IRON,  consuming 3 commodities. NRG COKE(Koks) MAT FEORE, MAT LIME.
Every of them has input value. But in Result COKE(Koks) is allright, FEORE and LIME does not respect my input value.
What is wrong ?

Pleas look at the pic.

Thank you very much

Your process transformation for the PIG IRON process is quite badly modelled.  Please remove the EFF=1 parameter (cell O55), as it is obviously inconsistent and spurious with respect to your INPUT parameters.

Yes i did not realized EFF should not be here. Its working now.
And wanna ask if i need to use Auxilary Output in process PIG IRON where blast furnace gas is also produced as secondary commodity. What attributes are needed exept Comm-OUT-A - Amount of produced blast furnace gas must be tied to PIG IRON.
Thanks Antti.

For multi-output processes, it may be wise to first check if you can manually define the PCG correctly. If you can do that, you would not need to worry about Comm-OUT-A (you don't need it).  Comm-OUT-A becomes useful when you have e.g. three outputs of the same type, of which only two should be in the PCG.  In such a case it may not be easy to define the PCG manually without Comm-OUT-A.  Comm-OUT-A causes the auxiliary commodity to be removed from the corresponding NRGO / MATO / DEMO group, and so if you have three NRG outputs, of which two should be in the PCG, you cannot assign PCG=NRGO, unless you use Comm-OUT-A for the third commodity.

In your PIG IRON case, the PCG should apparently be PIGIRN, and so you won't be needing Comm-OUT-A.  You can just define PCG=PIGIRN and define the output flow of BFG with Comm-Out + Output.

I updated the inputs in the model. But not sure if could be done like this (Please see attached). Because Input of the PIG IRON process is commodity PIGIRN, in (Mt) and BFG COG and CNG are NRG Commodity  in (PJ).

No it cannot be done like you have done it.  You cannot define Input/Output for the PCG, or members of the PCG (any such will be ignored).  I already gave my suggestion, which would work, but you chose not to follow it.

1. I defined PCG Group as PIGIRN as u said.
2. Comm-Out are PIGIRN-material, BFG, CNG, COG - energy.
3. But if i can not use Input and Output for PCG how to define it by Comm-Out + Output  ?
4. Could u show me via my VT file  please?

I m confused now.

Very well.  But I don't think coke oven gas is produced by blast furnaces. It is produced by coke ovens.  Confused

COG of curse not, also CNG is produced by Blast furnace but it was matter of principe. I needed to test it  and also, i think in final result it is not importat in model where these gases are produced. It is important to maintain the material and energy balance for the correct calculation of emissions in the steelwork. In additon i was told to put these outputs here by our veryfier  Shy

at first i only put these gases to MIN mining proceses and declare its input share in different techs. And it worked fine, but i want to do it differently.

Many thanks for help Antti.
