Capacity Factor

Hi,

I need to set an upper bound on capacity for wind power plant and I have max capacity factor of the power plant from 2015 to 2025 (32%,32.6%, and 33.1%). How can I set user constraint for the capacity factor of the power plant? I don't have the max capacity of the power plant I only have capacity factor. So I did as below, but I know something has missed...

Should this table be ~UC_T or ~UC_T:UC_RHSRT?

What are you trying to add over what the attribute AF would do?

In general, one should write the equation that needs to be expressed as a UC. Please do an exercise for me: translate the UC above into an equation.

Constructing UCs will be very frustrating (and risky) unless the underlying equations are completely clear to the user.

I already had AF in my model, but I solved my problem with applying constraint on the amount of wind capacity.

Good that you got things to work.

However, if you are dealing with only one wind technology then CAP_BND should be enough.
