VEDA FE shrinking

Hi Guys,

I’m having an issue with VEDA FE here, I wonder if anyone could help me out.. I recently downloaded the programme on to my Windows 10 laptop but when I open the programme it seems to load up just fine and then out of nowhere, it suddenly shrinks everything on the page, font size, pop-up boxes etc which makes it virtually impossible to navigate around.

I had a look on this forum to see if anyone else experienced this issue and actually found a whole thread dedicated to the issue. The main solution advised was to disable windows automatic scaling in the display settings of my computer. This, at first seemed to work a treat; I was able to open the programme and it would load up in a normal size on the screen, however after a little while I closed down VEDA FE and when I went to re-open it, the same issue as before happened (shrinking).

Do you have any advice for me at this moment as I appear to be all out of ideas?

Dear Christopher,

Please try the below steps:-
Right-click on the VEDA_FE.exe application, select Properties, select the Compatibility tab, and then select the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings check box.

   

Please let me know if your problem is not resolved with this solution.

I'm afraid that option is not available in the properties pop-up window. (See image). Is there anything else I can do?

Hi Christopher,

Click on Change high DPI Setting and then choose High DPI scaling override.
