“The problem appeared after I
copied my model's folder and it did not run, giving an ADODB error
message. Although demo versions were running correctly and were giving
optimal solutions, my model kept on giving the same error.
When I changed the excel
files to an earlier version (97-2003) all the files were compiled but an exact
file kept on giving the same error referring to a missing TempDB.mdb file with
both *.xls and *.xlsx extensions.
Then, I added the Veda folder and sub-folders to the trusted locations in excel options and copied the model again under Veda models folder in a renamed model folder, and it runs without any problems with both *.xls and *.xlsx extensions.”
