Not able to import gdx-files

Hi,

I need to import GDX-files from previous runs, but I am only able to import the ~Data... version of the gdx-file. I need to use the solution from an old run in a new run.

I am using VEDA 1.203.1.1.

You just need to point to the .GDX file from the old run for this, using the "GDX References" option at the bottom of the case definition form.

The import GDX functionality is only to import the data GDX files, so that input data can be compared across cases.

The GDX-references is empty, although it is pointing to the directory including the gdx-files, see the attached screenshots.

the files are expected in "\GAMSSave\", not the "" itself.

Creating a GamsSave-folder and moving them into there did not make any difference. They are still not appearing in GDX references.

RFCmd_F solved the problem, an attribute to insert lines directly to the RUN file. Also, to make the case find the right gdx-file, the full path to the gdx-file was needed to be specified in the RUN-file, remembering all back-slashes .

Thank you so much for the help. In addition to make gdx-reference work when moved from the original path, It also solved a lot of manual work by learning about Parametric Scenario. I am now able to create ridiculously many cases with small differences automatically by using Parametric scenario.
