CHPR~FX and Dummy Import
#1
Hello guys, here is my model.

I have Combined heat and power plants (CHP) which produce ELECTRICITY and HEAT.
And problem is that, production of HEAT is unstable and its throwed to DUMMY import.
Here is Result from VEDA Back- End. And also my VT file.

 What is wrong ?

Thank you very much

Post the file QA_Check.log here (or take a good look at it yourself). It is in the Work folder.

The problem is that you have no CHP processes.  None of the processes in your ~FI_Process table is defined CHP.
You may also wish to upgrade to TIMES v4.5.0.

I did a correction but still not working.

QA is showing this

*** User-provided G_YRFR values are not valid year fractions
 *01 WARNING       - TS fractions normalized,  (R.TSL.S)=SVK.ANNUAL.ANNUAL

*** Found CHP processes without electricity in the PG

 *01 WARNING       -     R=SVK          P=PP204

Yes, CHP stands for Combined Heat and Power, and in TIMES models CHP processes must have an electricity output, if you want to use the CHP attributes.  You seem to have no electricity commodities in the model.

In your original file (VT_SK_TEST-ELC-LENPP CHPRR.xlsx) there wasn't any electricity commodity in the FI_Comm table.  If there is now, you should no longer be getting that warning.

I ran model once again but still warning.

In  VT file VT_SK_TEST-ELC-LENPP CHPRR sheet  Commodities there is Csets: NRG - CommName: ELCVEL - Electricity commodity for technology PP194
QA says , found CHP precesses without electricity in the PG

Ok, thanks. Your screenshot shows that you still have no electricity commodities...
If you would like to have, please define them as such (in VEDA: Ctype=ELC).

It looks fine now, problem was that Ctype ELC is problably reserved by Veda system and i was using ELC symbol for my output commodity. I will run my test model with some changes and we will see. But thank you Smile
For now.
