Bug with TFM_INS and \I:

Hi,

I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, my apologies if there was a dedicated thread I missed;

I'm running VEDA-FE 4.3.4405, and when using \I: or * symbols to de-activate rows in TFM_INS tables it does not seem to work... Only the information in the cell with the \I: or * symbol disappears from VEDA-FE browser, the rest is still read.

I have not seen it mentioned in the veda history but it is a minor bug, so maybe it was already corrected... I thought it worth informing anyway.

To Ignore any row you have to write those ignore symbols in specific columns like "Attribute", "TimeSlice", "LimType" and "Year".

If you added symbol in right place so please post screen shot of excel of that TFM table.

I tried it in the DEMO model to make sure there were no interference, and the same problem arose. However, as far as I recall yesterday the "ANNUAL" parameter just did not show at all in VFE, but the rest of the line did. I do not know what I did different trying to reproduce it today, but there still seems to be some kind of a bug here.

The line shows indifferently whether I leave the "ANNUAL" text after \I:, or not (in the latter case, the timeslice showing in VFE browser is "\I:")

Dear Vikrant,

After I updated VEDA to version 4.4.7, the problem does not seem to show up anymore. It might have been an old bug... Sorry for that, thanks for your answer anyway!
