Stochastic runs from ANSWER-TIMES to VEDA_BE
#1

Dear Amit,

I am having some problems with importing stochastic runs from ANSWER-TIMES to VEDA_BE. I have changed the ANS_GAMS.CMD from GDX2VEDA gamssave\%2 %1\times2veda.vdd to GDX2VEDA gamssave\%2 %1\times2veda_stc.vdd and is able to generate a vd-file but somehow VEDA_BE does not read this file or want to import it.

Do you have any tips or suggestions on how I can solve this?

You just need to create a new database as the stochastic output has a different structure due to the SOW index. Use the file menu to create a new database and point to the output files from the stochastic run.

Thank you Amit.
Another question. The SOW are sorted in a strange way if I have more than 9 SOW. Meaning the sequence is: 1 10 11 ............ 19 2 20 21 .............. 29 3 30 and so on (using sort default) . Do you have any tips on how I can get a SOW's in the right order in VEDA_BE?
I have also tried sort ascending and descending.
Thank you.

one option would be to change their description in VEDA to 01, 02 etc. and then switch to description in the cube view. there is another option via sort order under user options but I won't recommend that.
