Has anyone incorporated water storage?

Hello everyone,

Has anyone implemented water storage in TIMES? I’m looking for examples where this has been done.

Also, the document “Improving the Modelling of Energy Storage Technologies in TIMES via Collaboration with TCP Energy Storage Annex 32" refers to a SubRES template for modelling storage in TIMES (SubRES_Storage-v2.zip). However, I haven’t been able to locate this file anywhere.

I’d really appreciate it if anyone could share a copy or direct me to where it can be found.

There are two hydro power examples with water storage:
  ● ELCRNHYDP1 Hydro power with pondage
  ● ELCRNHYDR1 Hydro power with large reservoir

However, there is no guarantee that the Subres works with the old VEDA-FE. It is a VEDA2-tested Subres.

Thanks Antti, I'm downoading VEDA2 now. Will my existing University license work on VEDA2?
