Dear Admins,
The latest version of VEDA is using version 14 of Postgres.
But Postgres is published the version 17.4. According to the tests, each major versios are increase the process speed.
So in the desktop installation version, there is a postgres unistallation exe in the postgres folder.
The question is, can we upgrade to version 17 externally and introduce to VEDA to use?
Have a nice day.

Dear Draximal,
Thank you for your message and for bringing this to our attention.
We understand your interest in upgrading PostgreSQL to the latest version. At present, VEDA2.0 is bundled with PostgreSQL version 14. However, we’re pleased to inform you that we will soon be releasing a new version of VEDA2.0 that includes PostgreSQL version
15.9, which has been thoroughly tested across multiple Windows environments to ensure stability and performance.
While newer versions of PostgreSQL (such as 17.4) may offer performance improvements, we strongly recommend using only the officially bundled and tested version of PostgreSQL with VEDA2.0. This ensures compatibility with our internal logic, stored procedures, and database configurations.
Using an external PostgreSQL version may result in unexpected behavior or unsupported scenarios, so we advise against manually upgrading at this time.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
