Emissions
#1
Hey people,
I have a new problem related with the emissions... I'd like to know the combustion emissions related with the consumption of fuel in each sector. I have created a new sheet EMI in each sector (indemi, traemi...) and a commodity for each sector (indco2, traco2..).
The problem is that when I solve the model indco2 gathers up emissions from both industry and transport sectors.
Do I have to declare to different names for the same fuel in each sector, even if both sectors use the same commodity?
Thanks!

Can you pl post pictures of your EMI tables?

I have this cube in a emission sheet of the industry sector workbook and a similar one in the emissions sheet of the transport workbook.

~COMEMI
CommName GASNAT OILCRD OILBIO
INDCO2N 2.3370 3.1235 1.0
When I solve the model this is what I get:
Period 2008 2008 2008
Process\Commodity ELCCO2N INDCO2N TRACO2N
- 60722286.9 0 0
ECOAHAR000 60720768.9 0 0
INDTEC00 0 1.62630563 1.62630563
TRATEC00 0 4.9916467 4.9916467
As you can see the emissions coming from transport are being counted both in trasport and in industry. Furthermore, I would like to see wich fuel do the come from and I can't.
Tanks again

I think you have assigned different emittants to the same fuels in different sectors.
Options:
  1. Have different fuel names by sector
  2. Use the ~PRCCOMEMI table (shown below)
  3. Use FLO_EMIS declarations - tying emittants to input commodities at the process level
