Antti, thanks for clarifying VAR_ACT for STG technologies. But still I don't understand the logic in VAR_F** with respect to CAP.
If my understanding is correct, CAP is on annual basis, and so the CAP2ACT (e.g. 31.536 PJ/ annum/GW). i.e. a technology with CAP2ACT of 31.536 should NOT produce an output of more than 31.536. Is it correct? this is what I understand, at least so far.
If so, in our case, for instant, capacity of PUM00 in 2015 is 1.08 GW. So, its max annual output shouldn’t exceed 34.06 PJ (i.e. 1.08*31.536). But the output (VAR_FOut) shows a figure of 48.31 PJ, despite its AF of 20%. Similarly, for PUM05, capacity in 2015 is almost zero, but the VAR_FOut is 80.97 PJ. Can it be interpreted as there is no power plant, but still it is operated!
