I have just updated VEDA in my computer and I am getting the following error every time I try to open VEDA-BE:
"429 VEDA-BE: ActiveX component can't create object"
I click OK and then another error appears:
"91 VEDA-BE: Object variable or With block variable not set"
I click OK once more (the same message appears again, but one more time I click OK), and VEDA-BE opens and works out properly, without malfunctioning. I can work with VEDA this way, but I dont want this error to appear every time I open VEDA-BE. I have already tried to enter "REGSVR32 DAO360.DLL" in command line, as suggested in http://forum.kanors-emr.org/showthread.php?tid=37&highlight=activeX, but it did not solve the problem. Does someone know how to fix it?
I dont believe this problem occurs because of the model we are using. I have deleted all cases in VEDA-BE (using "delete" and "delete source files" option in the Import/Archive menu) and the problem did not disappeared, even without any case loaded in the BE. I have also tried to run a demo model and the same problem appeared.

I have found two files named VEDA_R.MDB, one in the path VEDA\VEDA_BE and other in the path VEDA\VEDA_BE\Databases\TIMES_DEMO (I am not sure, but shouldn't this last path have been deleted after deleting all cases with "Import/Archive"?). I am sending both attached. I have renamed the one in the folder VEDA\VEDA_BE\Databases\TIMES_DEMO to VEDA_R2.MDB and changed the extension, as .MDB files could not be loaded.
Thanks. Indeed, MS_word was not installed. This fixed one problem, and now I can open VEDA-BE without any error message. But, there is another issue that was not solved by installing MS-Word. In VEDA-BE, when I choose "Import/Archive", an error message appears with the following: "Microsoft JET Database Engine - 2147217833 VEDA-BE: The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data." Can you help me?
I have just done that and this error continues to appear. If it helps, this error occurs only after I import a result once. That is, if there is no TIMES run loaded in the BE, this message is not shown. But if I run a case in FE and load it in the BE, the next time I press "Import/Archive", this message appears
Marcelo,
We will need to check out the issue over a remote session. Can you kindly contact [email protected] and share your remote teamviewer connection credentials?
