Export to Excel

I have difficulties exporting data to excel when I am using Browse in TIMES view. Basically, from time to time not all of the data is exported: the indentifiers are there but starting from a certain line all the data is missing (see the file: uploads/43/WindConstraints.zip). Is there any strategy for avoiding this?

Can you identify the problem more precisely? I checked MAXWIND and MAXWIND1 and they are good.

I have tried to reproduce the error on a smaller amount of data. Here is how it looks like: uploads/43/Export2Excel2.zip. Apparently, the exporting process is interrupted if user accesses excel before VEDA is done...

So, all goes well if you leave Excel alone when VFE is exporting?

I think so... If I do not access any of the open workbooks, or if I close all excel workbooks before exporting then it works.

Actually, it seems that VFE has to be left alone as well: I got an incomplete file after minimizing the window.

Amit, it behaves really strange. The exporting time of the same data can vary by factor 10, but longer  time does not mean that data is exported completely. I tried not to disturb my PC at all after starting the process, but it does not always work (50% success rate).

We are not able to reproduce the problem, but believe you .

Try the two other export routes that appear when you right click in the data area: Copy (clipboard) and Export to Excel. Their behavior will help us diagnose the problem.

I've tried the other two options. They seem to work fine. There is one problem however: VFE hangs and does not respond  if I try to select a large amount of data... (see uploads/43/VFE_not_responding.png)

Hi Amit,

I've got another problem. The export route "Export to Excel" (accessible via right click in the data area) fills all empty cells with zeros in the excel file. This can be very misleading...
