Error in syncing the model

Dear all, 

I get the following error when trying to sync a demo model. What can be the reason for this error?

Note that this is on a server for students where GAMS and VEDA is installed by another person than myself. I therefore do not have fully control of what has been previously done.

please post the error log file from the logs folder where Veda2.0 exe exists. looks like an Excel version/installation issue. does the error occur in all Sync operations, or only for a particular model?

I guess this error is because there is no excel on this computer . I will get excel installed and try again later.....

Excel is installed and the synchronization works. Now I get the following error when trying to run a demo model. How do you suggest that I solve this issue?

Can you please attached the error log file in this post.

According to your shared image, this appears to be a permission issue.
Can you try to give full permission (full control) to the Veda folder and its sub-folder (C: \ Veda).

Thank you. It seems that changing the permissions works makes everything work fine.
