Installation on new computer

Hi

I have just tried to install the latest VEDA 2.0 on a new computer (while not having the former VEDA installed), and the model did not connect with Gams properly (the CMD window did not open). 

First we tried to add the pathway to Gams in the environment settings, that solved the linking to Gams, however we got the message "ERROR: Input redirection is not supported, exiting the process immediately.". I haven´t been able to find any former kind post on this, so hoping some of you have an idea? it did not seem to relate to the issue on .OCX errors.

Last attempt from our side was to install the old VEDA and the models runs just fine there and reinstall VEDA 2.0, but unfortunately still nothing. 

So we can easily run the models, but hoping someone have some good suggestions, since we prefer the new VEDA

is it possible that the model is actually running but there is no log output in the CMD window? I have noticed this behavior on one of my machines with the latest version of GAMS.

Hi Amit

Thanks it does work as you say. Didn´t notice that the results were actually coming out of the model.
