Start Year Time Periods Question
#1
Dear Veda Support,

I have a question about the time period and how to define them. The start year is 2005.
In the first demo model the column has a 1 followed by a 2 directly under it. Displays results for 2005 and 2006.

2005

2     ****Why is this a two? and what does it mean?****

When I change the "2" to a "1" the model run results are identical in VEDA BE showing results for 2005 and 2006.

~Timeperiods

1   ****** Changed this to "1" produces same results in VEDA BE for 2005 and 2006.

When I change the value from 1 to 5, VEDA BE gives results for 2005 and 2008.

I am a bit confused could anyone help me figure this out? Page 31 of Part IV explains it but it is unclear to me.

I think if you go to VEDA-FE->Advanced Functions->MileStone Years, things will be clear.

The numbers you are asking about are period duration (in years). This is one of the very few tables in VEDA that are better handled from the User interface. VEDA will update this table when you create/edit definitions on the form that Partha suggested.
